Meet Woody! -4 year old Shepherd mix -Came into the Shelter as a stray -Staff have observed that he is friendly and enjoys being pet all over -Knows sit and down and would love to continue bonding with his guardian through positive reinforcement based training -No history with children or cats Now through December 23rd the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting Home for the Holidays. This adoption event reduces the adoption fee for all cats, rabbits and dogs to $50. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
