Woody German Shepherd Dog & Hound Mix Underhill, VT

Cuteness alert! Woody was found in some woods as a young puppy. The poor
little fellow was skin and bones and had clearly been abandoned.
Thankfully, a good Samaritan scooped him up and brought him to safety before
something bad happened to him. He has since been receiving lots of TLC in
foster care and is now all ready to hang his leash in his forever home.

Woody is about 10 months old and weighs in at 45 pounds. Our best guess as
to his breed mix is Shepherd/Hound. We think he'll probably be on the large
side of medium at full growth. What we are SURE of is that he's very
handsome, happy love bug. He is fun-loving and playful, but also content to
cuddle next to his person all day. He loves his people - and his squeaky
toys. He's crate trained, working on leash training and 95% house trained.
At his age, with consistency and positive reinforcement, he will quickly
learn everything he needs to become the best dog he can be.

Woody gets along nicely with other dogs and would love a canine companion in
his new home. His only exposure to cats has been from the opposite side of
a fence. He's young yet so it's likely that he could learn to coexist with
a dog-savvy kitty with a proper introduction. There are no children in
Woody's foster home; however, his sweet disposition would indicate that he'd
be a great companion for a family with kids above age 6. A pup his size
could accidently knock over a toddler.

Woody is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date with vaccinations. He's
also on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. His puppy bag is
packed and he's ready to head for his forever home. If you would like to
