Wonka is a beautiful young Chocolate Labrador that just loves people. He has enjoyed playing with kids and adults here at the shelter. He is good in his kennel. When we take him to the play yard, he enjoys chasing the ball and running around, but then he ends up right back at our feet and likes to hang out next to us.
Wonka is a fun dog with a balanced energy that makes him a great candidate for many different types of homes. From a single person’s best friend to a family buddy, he just wants to be chosen, loved and kept in a forever home.

It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction.

All our dogs have been spayed or neutered or arrangements will be made if currently too young. They will be treated for fleas, bathed, vaccinated against distemper/parvo, treated against general parasites, and if of age, tested for heart worms and vaccinated against rabies. If underage for these things at the time of adoption, they are to be done at the adopter’s cost when the dog becomes of age. They will be microchipped at the time of adoption.
