Wonderful sweet Barrett Bloodhound & Redbone Coonhound Mix West Hartford , CT

This dreamy baby boy was found at a beautiful vacation property with his two best friends who were puppy German shepherds. Everyone couldn’t believe how incredibly sweet Barrett was as he captivated everyone who met him! After efforts made to find owners didn’t pan out, fortunately an amazing foster home came forward and was delighted to take this big baby on until the home of his dreams is found!
Barrett is about 7-9 months old and really is the biggest sweetest baby in the world. He has gone to the vets who has confirmed his age and while he is thin, he’s gaining weight beautifully and still growing and will surely be a big teddy bear when he grows up! He has had all of his medical work completed including vaccines, heartworm testing negative, microchipping, deworming, and he is now neutered. He’s officially ready to find his forever home!
As you can imagine, in his foster home he is an absolute ham! He walked in and immediately was loving and kind to the cat, and every dog he’s met. Barrett is the sweetest soul around. He is incredibly tolerant and whether or not dogs are barking or being sassy, he always keeps us southern gentleman cool and is grateful for all the love he is receiving! He’s excellent in the house and enjoys his time playing outside with other dogs, and soaking up the sun on the deck as spring approaches. He does great in the car and loves to take walks with his humans. He greets everyone with a deep and soulful kindness and has a temperament that truly shines. You can tell immediately upon meeting him that this boy has a heart of gold! He’s great about going potty outside and is an absolutely master snuggler. Parents who adore his gloriously floppy ears, soulful and infinitely sweet eyes, and who want a big baby to snuggle with are a must. He is truly a treasure and we can’t wait to see his dreams of being a beloved family member come true!
