Hello wonderful people let me tell you a little about myself. I was picked up as a stray dog and taken to a shelter where I waited and waited and waited some more for my family to come get me out. Sadly they did not come for me - maybe I was just too cute for them?? Anyhow, the rescue lady let the shelter know she had room for some smaller dogs so they picked me to go to the rescue whatever that means. One of the awesome people who I had seen over my time there offered to give me a lift to the rescue place - I trusted her and knew she and her kids were helping me so I hopped right in. We drove and drove some more I didn't think we would ever get there but the children were sweet so I sat with them while they petted me. Anyway, we got to the rescue place I was a little worried as there were a lot of dogs there too!!! But they let me run around and sniff and then got me settled into a crate with a soft blanket and I went to sleep. The next morning and over the next couple weeks I got to meet the other dogs there and the rescue lady just kept asking me why my family didn't go get me out -- she said I was so perfect and well behaved she is surprised. I tried to tell her I am the cutest most well behaved dog ever and I missed my family and I didn't understand it either but I don't know if she understood me. So we just played and she gave me lots of pets and snuggles. I am loving it here I can run around and sniff the air and play with toys but I really want a family to call my very own again. She said she would do her best at matching me up with the perfect family who will love me forever. My favorite thing is playing fetch and following her around though I am a terrier so I wander all over the property looking and sniffing for small critters but I haven't found any yet. Size – about 19 lbs

History- This little guy was picked up a stray and never reclaimed or adopted at the shelter so transferred to us.

Temperament- Super sweet, very smart, loves attention, and is just the cutest guy ever.

Energy Level- He is a higher energy dog who loves exploring and playing with toys but also loves being cuddled

Dogs/Cats- He takes a while to warm up to new dogs. Would probably prefer being an only dog but he tolerates the others. He might learn to enjoy another dogs company but so far he's not besties with anyone. He has met the cats here and didn't bother him but he did go out on a trial an was very focused on their cat so it would probably be best if he was not in a home with cats or other small animals since this is a hunting breed.

Kids/People- Good with everyone he has met. Just a sweet lovely boy. Loves kids as well!!

Commands/Obedience Level- Wish knows some basic commands but could use a refresher course. Walks well on leash.

Housetrained/Crate Trained- He is perfect inside his crate and out. Someone took care of him at some point.

Adoption fee $250 includes spay, rabies, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, collar and leash, and all the support you need.
