Meet Winter
Welcome Winter and family
This sweet mama was abandoned in an orchard and either delivered there, or was dumped with her baby pups. They were found living in a depression in the dirt in the freezing cold and totally exposed to the elements. Mama is skin and bone but her pups are fat and healthy. Mama gave everything she had to her babies. Rescue angels saw her there and had no place to take her but began bringing food and water each day. They reached out for help but everyone is full and shelters are bursting at the seams and turning away animals. We were asked to take them and scrambled to make room.
Mama appears to be a young adult lab or Anatolian type mix. She’s probably 50-60 pounds and needs to gain at least 10-15 pounds.
