Winston American Bully & Boxer Mix Mechanicsburg, PA

This ball of complete cuteness is Winston. He's a young fella, about 2 to 3 years old. CPAA rescued him from Philly ACCT in December because a woman wanted to foster him, but then bailed a mere 36 hours later. This happens so often in rescue. People fail to listen to decompression instructions, and it's always the dog who pays the price. CPAA had no place for Winston to go, so he has been in boarding since December.

Winston is playful and smart. He likes the snow, stuffies, and Yak cheese bones. And he LOVES tennis balls. LOVES THEM. In fact, he often carries one in his mouth as his emotional support ball. Winston recently visited Home Depot and did outstanding!

He's been working twice a week with one of our awesome trainers to learn manners and commands, and he is doing so well. He isn't reactive to other dogs at the kennel, so we think he could be fine living with another dog with proper introductions and decompression. We think he'd do well with a calmer dog that is size or a little bit smaller Winston's best home would be without cats or small dogs and with children 12 years or older.
