Winnie Poodle Valparaiso, IN

Winnie the POOdle is the sweetest lap dog ever. She has come a long way in almost 3 weeks of living out in the real world. We are working on redirecting circle behavior and she responds. She is crate-trained but does circles in a crate as well. Winnie prefers gates in a larger space. She loves to be cuddled once you have built trust. She doesn't do steps well, but she is working on it. Once she finds her forever home and her person; she will be completely trainable. Winnie needs a backyard because she isn't acclimated to walking on a leash yet. The only command she knows is "down". This is the only way you are to pick her up to take in after backyard time. She is kiddish and cowardly often, but this is something that will change as she realizes the love and commitment of humans.We have already seen great strides. Not a mean bone in her!
