Meet Winnie
Meet sisters Winnie and Wanda. Winnie, a 20-pound Chiweenie, and Wanda, an elderly Chihuahua weighing just eight pounds, were abandoned without explanation. They are scared, grieving, and unsure of their future.
Though frightened, they're slowly starting to respond to the gentle care of the shelter staff. Winnie is the more outgoing of the two. Wanda, on the other hand, is still deeply traumatized, clinging to the comfort of her sister.
These sweet, quiet girls are bonded by love, and we hope they won't have to lose each other. They deserve to spend their remaining years together, bringing warmth to someone's lap, just as they do for each other now.
