Introducing Winnie!
This two-year-old lady is eager to please and has shown she knows sit and paw! Winnie loves going on walks and getting scratches/belly rubs. Winnie was bred multiple times and just wants to leave that life behind and be a families perfect pet instead. She keeps her house nice and clean but would rather be out and about with her people. Winnie would do best as the only animal in the home but promises to make up for it with extra tricks and love if you would teach her!

Winnie can be a little shy around men as she does not see them regularly at our rescue, but she warms up to everyone she meets very quickly. She came to us from a local animal control to avoid euthanasia due to space issues. She was extremely underweight and had just had a little of puppies. She would love a home where she could relax and enjoy being a dog.

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
