Meet Winnie
Winnie is a gorgeous young lady who came to us in a time of great need. Her owner was no longer able to care for her, and reached out to us to find her the loving home she is meant to have. Winnie is a big-hearted powerhouse, and her only desire is to be loved.
She is a pit bull, who stands at about 60 pounds, with a classic stocky build. Winnie's previous home could not accommodate her needs as a strong, energetic young girl - she's just under 4 years old. She will need a loving home with a generous amount of space for her to run out her zoomies and play to her heart's content. Winnie's ideal home would also have no other animals in the home, as she does not like to share your attention.
Her ideal forever home would be with those who understand the pitbull or bully personalities and their needs and requirements as a strong energetic breed. At the shelter and in her previous homes, we have seen that Winnie has some separation anxiety. This can be managed with proper training and medication.
It is time for Winnie to get a second chance at love - won't you be the one to show her the compassion and understanding she deserves? If you think you can open your heart and home to Winnie, we have a simple questionnaire to fill out at www.fatherjohns.org/adopt or give us a call at 973-300-5909
