Willow (Benefactor Puppy) Great Dane New Orleans, LA

Hey everyone, I’m Willow! I am around 3 months old, a Great Dane puppy and I’m the definition of a Velcro dog! I want to be right next to you at all times! I am learning to walk on a leash and go potty outside. I can hold everything just fine throughout the night! I am very scared and working on my confidence slowly but I am 200% full of love. Extraordinary gentle around children and no reactivity around other dogs!

I will be very big and have quite the hungry appetite! I don’t know how to play yet but I have shown interest in balls! I am a little nervous of the crate especially going in and out but quickly calm down! I like to just sleep and relax after any kind of exercise especially walks!

But that being said I am very nervous and have never been a part from my litter mates so it will be an adjustment at first but that just means I will follow you every single place you go!

This puppy is a Benefactor Puppy. His/her increased adoption fee will allow them to act as a benefactor to other dogs in our care that require special medical care and a better chance at adoption.

Please note: as with most rescue puppies, we have no way to guarantee this puppy’s breed or size potential.

Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Benefactor Adoption Fee Scale:
Benefactor Puppies under 12 months - $550
Benefactor Dogs over 12 months - $450


*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
