Hello every, I am Willow.
I could tell you some stories about how I came into rescue but I prefer to focus my sights on the future. I have a new lease on life with places to go and people to snuggle! Maybe you can help me out with that?
I will tell you that I came into resuce with a name that didn't suit my personality, a prolapse, and a broken heart. You can tell from my before photos that I needed unconditional love in the worst way. Just a few weeks of tlc and some amazing veterinary care and I am ready to find my forever home where I can shine like the princess that I should be.
When it comes to what I would like to have in my forever home, I can say that I am pretty much a basic girl and proud of it! I would love a snuggly soft bed, someone to love me, the occassional patio trip for a snack, and maybe a dog friend to show me the ropes. I love kids too so if you have them... I can't wait to meet them.
I wasn't potty trained when I got here but I am doing great! I started with a potty pad but have graduated to the yard just like my other foster siblings. Keep working with me and I will be 100% in no time!
These dogs in my foster family like to play - a lot! I am happy to play for a bit and then I want to prance back to my bed to snuggle in. I have come a long way in my wellness journey so I am loving these workouts in the yard. It is so much more than I could do a few weeks ago! I am happy to go on car rides and to walk by your side on walks. I gotta admit, I am pretty good on a leash so let's discover the world - and patios with snacks, did I mention that?
My favorite times of the day are when I am running zoomies in the yard, snack time and nap time. I mean, a girl has to have her beauty rest!
All in all, I am a basic girl with simple needs. Love, security, a soft bed and - most of all - YOU.
