Meet Wiley

Hi! My name is Wiley and I am an 8 month old Australian shepherd pup. I was surrendered to Herding Haven when I was a tiny puppy because I was hit by a car and had several broken bones in my legs. Herding Haven (and a great orthopedic surgeon) got me all fixed up and now I am ready to find my forever home. I am super friendly and outgoing. I love being with my people and I am an excellent snuggler. I really like playing with other dogs but sometimes I have trouble sharing my toys and food with them. So, a home where I am the only dog or one that can set good boundaries is important. I have a moderate energy level. A daily walk and some structured playtime would be perfect for me. Because of herding dog tendencies, I would not be a good fit for a home with small/young children. Kids over the age of 10 yr would be OK. I am housebroken, crate-trained, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. I have been to puppy training classes and know several commands and even a few tricks.
