Who can you trust? Do you trust until you are given a reason not to, or do others have to earn your trust? My name is Wick and you will 100% have to earn my trust. No one knows the full truth of my past besides me and I work every day to put it behind me. Coming from a hoarder house with 17 dogs, where I was hardly noticed, I'm learning every day that I do matter and how to be a normal dog. I'm a charming 8 lb. Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a personality as unique as my quirks. I do not care to be picked up and not sure why that's even a thing. I mean, do you like being picked up? I'm terrified of leashes and would prefer getting my exercise in a securely fenced in yard. I am a loyal friend that adores my toys and can't resist a game of fetch. My favorite pastime is nestling into my big, soft blanket, where I wrap myself up and seem to vanish. My bark ... my bark is much the same if I don't like you or if I'm happy to see you. It might be alarming to some, but if you care, you will figure out the difference. I am a bit fearful and may seem unapproachable at times, but with patience and understanding, I'll show you just how affectionate and playful I can be. I am housebroken and will use a pee pad if I have to be left for a while. I get along with other dogs and cats and I love kittens. My requirements:

You need to be dedicated to helping me grow. I have been with my foster family for 5 months and I'm finally behaving as part of the pack. I like to sleep in bed with them under the covers.

I need a fenced in yard that I can access directly from the house.

I need another dog in the home to help me feel secure and show me the ropes.

I have come a long way from trembling rescue to spicy foster with multiple personalities. Most times you get the happy playful puppy and sometimes the grumpy old man. I will show you more love than you could ever imagine if I'm given the time needed to trust. Do you have room in your heart and home to help me be the best I can be? I really want my very own family.
