Hello and welcome to Beacon Animal Rescue! Beacon’s mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving homes for cats and dogs; to educate the community about responsible treatment of companion animals; and to promote the practice of spaying and neutering in a no-kill environment. All our dogs come spayed/ neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and medical records, along with a free check-up within two weeks of adoption from our animal clinic.

Whoopi is a shy, playful 1 year old mix who came to us from Georgia. Whoopi seems a little shy when she is meeting someone new but once she gets out to play, she couldn’t be happier! She loves to play tug of war with a toy and could chase a tennis ball all day long. Whoopi has the biggest, sweetest eyes of all of our pups! Whoopi is expected to do well with other dogs and new people, and can be cat tested upon request.

If you have any dogs in the household already, we require a meet and greet between the pups to make sure they will get along! All dogs can be cat tested upon request as well, unless the dog has already been tested, which will be marked on their profile.
