Meet Whiskey, a handsome one-year-old, 70 lb. standard poodle who has a heart as big as his paws! This affectionate, playful boy was recently adopted from another rescue, but sadly, his current owner is battling cancer and can no longer care for him. Now, Whiskey is once again looking for a loving furever home.  

True to his poodle nature, Whiskey is intelligent, social, and eager to please. He’s always excited to meet and play with other dogs (cats are unknown) and has plenty of energy for outdoor adventures. Indoors, he’s a sweet and affectionate companion who enjoys lounging on the couch and staying close to his people. He’s housetrained, very trainable, and loves to be petted.

Whiskey is a friendly boy who sometimes likes to give enthusiastic “hugs,” so while he’s good with kids, they should be comfortable around larger dogs. He enjoys chew bones, learning new things, and most of all, being part of the family. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and active companion, Whiskey might just be the perfect match!
