Another two precious pups were picked up and taken to the shelter at the beginning of July 2024. The two darling boys are listed as Shepherd mixes, and they are tan with minimal white markings and some darker shading. Staff has estimated them to be about four months of age. That means a lot of high energy and a need for professional training so that they become good housemates and neighbors. The boy pictured here is named WHISKER BISCUIT. He was one of the lucky shelter dogs to be selected to be neutered on August 28, 2024, the first day trial run of the new spay/neuter clinic in town. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! It includes taking a dog collar and a leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt him. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animals should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
