Meet Wheezy
Meet Wheezy! This boy is 4 years old and 55 pounds of pure love. He is current on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
Before coming into rescue, we're not sure Wheezy spent much time inside but he's gotten really used to the good life! Wheezy is housebroken as well as crate trained. He LOVES other dogs and people of all ages. He sometimes gets a little excited, so any parents of young children should be prepared to provide supervision, as is the case with all dogs. Wheezy doesn't want to hurt cats but he thinks they're REALLY fun to chase, so a home without cats would be best. Recently we have been working on focus/attention, sitting, and walking nicely on a leash. Wheezy is a quick learner and super food motivated! Wheezy is a people dog. He loves to go for rides in the car, hang out at breweries, and snuggle on the couch. He is a medium-energy dog who would be fine with 1-2 walks a day plus some enrichment like a snuffle mat or puzzle toy. Because of his advanced heartworms, Wheezy does sometimes cough or wheeze when he's overly excited. The vet expects him to have a close-to-standard lifespan. Whoever brings this sweet boy into their lives will be in for a lot of laughs and kisses. Fill out an application to meet him today!
If interested in adopting Wheezy please fill out an application at operationsaveashelterdog.org. The adoption fee is $250.
