Meet Waylon
Meet Waylon
Meet Waylon, our 24 lb bundle of joy and love! At just 4 months old, this yellow lab mix pup is as sweet as they come. Waylon adores being petted and showered with affection. His favorite pastime? Making friends! He loves playing with dogs of all sizes and genders and is equally friendly with people, though he can be a bit timid at times. He would thrive in a home with another dog and patient owners who will reassure and praise him until he fully gains their trust. Waylon has also been fine around cats and, while he hasn't been around kids, we have no doubt he would love the attention of a loving child.
Waylon is well on his way with his training. He’s crate and leash trained and about 80% potty pad trained. He’s getting the hang of being housebroken and knows to go to the door when he needs to go out, though he occasionally has accidents. We’re working on his fetch game, and he will sit for a treat!
Waylon's friendly and gentle nature makes him a delight to have around. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great companion for any household with canine friends. His medium energy level makes him a perfect fit for a family that enjoys playtime but also appreciates some downtime. Waylon loves to play hard but also enjoys laying around and soaking up all the attention you can give him.
While he’s crate trained and generally well-behaved, he does have a typical puppy tendency to chew, so he’ll need plenty of toys and gentle guidance to keep him occupied. Waylon needs a bit of reassurance to build his confidence, but with a loving family, he’s sure to blossom.
