Waffles - in New England Golden Retriever & Great Pyrenees Mix Marshfield, MA

Waffles is a HAPPY, PLAYFUL one year old boy who loves to be loved. He resembles a mini English Cream retriever with a touch of Australian shepherd but is clearly a mix of breeds.

He has an air of independence like a Great Pyrenees so maybe he has a little of that in him as well. Only a DNA will say for sure. He is the perfect size dog. Not too small and not too big at 45 lbs .

Waffles us smart and likes to learn but with that streak of independence, one would have to be committed to keeping up with his training, He is amazing in his crate and loves to sleep at night in it and chill off and on between play sessions. He is quiet as a mouse in his crate as well. You'll only hear him when he sees you and is excited to go out to play again.

Waffles has been off leash recall trained but still relies on his tool to ensure that. He is dog friendly but also dog selective. He tends to be very good and gravitates towards female dogs and strong no-nonsense males,

Waffles would do well in a house with a fun, energetic female if someone is adopting that has another dog. He will also make a great solo dog for he's up for an adventure at all times.

A family or person who is very structured and likes to implement boundaries would be a great match for Waffles.

Someone who understands dog behavior and isn't scared or put off by his occasional reactivity to other male dogs. Waffles is nothing but a sweet angel to any and all people who've come across his path.

Approved adopters would meet Waffles and his trainer in the Massachusetts training program Waffles has completed .
