Volunteers Needed! Alaskan Malamute Mix Boise, ID

Our rescue extends help to Northern Breed Dogs in 5 states - Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah and Northern Nevada. That is a lot of ground to cover, and we need volunteers in all of those states to join our rescue efforts, even if it is just to provide identification of dogs in shelters or to help coordinate the transportation of a dog to safety. While we rely heavily on other rescues for some of these needs in other states, the best people to help Northern Breed Dogs are people who live with them and understand the breeds.

Right now we have a very limited number of safe houses (foster homes) available to our rescue Dogs, but we hope to soon have as many as 20 of these homes at the ready throughout Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada. These safe houses provide orphaned Northern Breed Dogs with socialization, training, and monitoring of any medical conditions that may need to be addressed before they can be adopted out to a forever home.
