Additional Info from foster parent: Vivian is a very sweet middle-aged gal. She is pretty laid back overall and wants to stay close to her people. She will typically follow you to the other room because if she can’t see you, you are too far away. She does super well in her crate overnight and during the day. When she’s out, she mostly just loves to snuggle with you and will sometimes play with toys/chew on bones, etc. She enjoys running around outside for a little bit with her doggie foster siblings, but once the option to go back inside where it’s warm arises she will take it (MN is a little bit colder than TX). She is so gentle - even when she tries to jump on you for a hug, but she knows pretty well not to do this if it’s not encouraged. We’re still working on solidifying some basic manners of sit, stay, etc., but overall her calm demeanor makes this pretty easy. She also does well with meeting new people (especially if they’re willing to pet her). When Vivian first came into rescue, she was pretty thin and had some non-contagious mange. As evident in the pictures, she has is much closer to getting healthy. She still tries to chew on her feet a little bit so working on getting those better, but overall, majority of her fur has come back in nicely. Vivian is ready for her forever home where she knows she’s safe, warm, fed, and can get pets and snuggles. If you’re looking for a dog that’s willing to go with the flow and be a snuggle buddy, she is your gal!
