Vittles Yorkshire Terrier Mix Omaha, NE

Well, for Vittles and his brother Vito they do not have to wonder because sadly they lived it. Due to no fault of his own, Vittles was returned to the rescue that he was born in with his brother simply because his last family decided they did not want to give any more of their time (or money) to their dogs. However, their loss is absolutely someone else’s gain because Vittles is amazing. He is a 6-year-old (DOB 2/13/17), yorkie mix (DNA from a sibling showed 50% yorkie, 12.5% black/tan coonhound, 12.5% beagle, 25% hound mix). Vittles is smaller than most of his siblings and weighs around 33 pounds. He lives in his foster home with his brother, Vito, and his foster siblings. He loves other dogs and gets the cutest “propeller tail” when he finds a good playmate. Running, wrestling and playing keep away with toys are a few of Vito’s favorite games. He is great with cats and children are ok if they approach slowly, so he doesn’t get too scared. He would love a forever home with his brother but understands if that is not possible. However, a home with another dog is needed to keep Vittles happy. He is timid of people at first but once he gets to know you, he becomes your shadow. Vittles is fully housebroken, rides perfectly in the car and is working on leash manners. With the sweetest eyes and a personality to match, Vittles is one in a million. All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $350___.

We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard, we do REQUIRE a means of safe outside containment. We do NOT adopt to homes that use invisible fencing. Invisible fencing is NOT a safe means of outside containment.

We are willing to adopt out-of-state, contingent on our ability to complete a home visit, but you must travel to Omaha to complete the adoption. We do not transport or ship our dogs.
