Meet Virgil
Virgil ended up in a rural NM shelter when his owner died. He was becoming depressed & losing weight so we pulled him into our rescue!
Virgil's foster family has this to say about him:
He's been with us for 2 months now & is fitting in great!
He's gotten used to our 3 adult cats & barely pays attention to them. He would likely need slow, careful introductions since he barked & tried to chase ours in the beginning.
We have an adult male & female dog and everyone is getting along / sharing space very well.
He's good with men, teens, & our 6 year old kid.
Totally housebroken, crate trained, likes car rides, LOVES walks & has a wonderfully deep bark that he only uses to warn us of someone at the door.
He is SO loving & will worship anyone who gives him belly rubs & hugs.
