Vinny the Agility Dog Pit Bull Terrier Sherwood, OR

Vinny is half Einstein, half Prince Charming... He has so much desire to learn that you'll swear he was born speaking English. He loves to figure things out and he's the resident genius... Anything you teach him, he learns within minutes. He can do anything. But he's also an all-around-great guy. He uses his superior intellect for good, not evil. Looking for a dog to do some fun training with? Vin's your dog! Interested in Search & Rescue, Nose/Scent work, Agility, Flyball and more, then this is the guy for you!


Personality and then some, Vinny likes to play fetch and will bring you the ball, go get his leash and bring it to you for a walk. He loves the water and hose. Ever the helpful dog, tell him, "bring me Betty's leash" and he will go get his foster sister's leash too! Overachiever? Just a bit. Yet, he is a calm low-moderate energy boy.



With the Northwest winter on the way you're going to need a warm snuggle buddy... Well, look no more, at 48lbs, he's the perfect size to lay in your lap for belly rubs. Vinny loves affection, yet is respectful if you need space. He does not jump on guests. He is gentle with kids and is currently living with a 10 year old boy. When people look into his golden brown eyes they melt. He's such a good boy.



Excellent house manners - calm and mellow in the house. Vinny can be left home alone in the house while you are at work/gone and he does just fine. However, he is also crate trained if there was ever a need.


He rides well in the car and would love a road trip! He walks well on the leash and delights in hikes and his daily walks. He enjoys people and is friendly to strangers. He likes to be buddies with calm submissive females and he'd also be fine as an only dog.


Vinny knows his basic commands and a few tricks like: sit, leave it, down, stay and shake, but he's waiting for more!


Vinny is about 3 years old, 48 lbs, neutered, chipped, UTD on vaccines and in great health! No food allergies or any skin conditions.

No same-sex pit bull pairings.


Same-sex adoptions with other breeds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, though not preferred.


Indoor homes only - we do not adopt out "outdoor" dogs or "guard" dogs.


Those applying to adopt one of our Pit Bulls -- you must be a homeowner, there will be a homecheck. There will be no exceptions made to this rule. Due to the restrictions on apartments, and rental homes we do not adopt our Pit Bulls out to renters. *Thank you for your understanding*

Vinny's adoption fee is $150. He comes neutered, microchipped, UTD on shots, rabies vaccination, dewormed, collar, leash, and a small bag of food.

Because of the breed’s undeserved negative media image, human companions living with a pit bull have to be more careful and responsible than the average human dog companion."
