Meet Verizon aka. Charlie
Charlie (HART name: Verizon) is a super loving, energetic and well behaved year old, 35 pound, Plott Hound/Catahoula mix who was rescued from a high intake shelter in West Virginia.
He loves going on walks, playing with his chew toys and being with his humans. Based on his interaction with our neighbor's dogs, I would guess he came from a multi-dog home. He is house trained and will go to the door when he needs to be let outside to do his business.
He is mostly crate trained and will sleep through the night without whining. He does get sad and barks some when put in his crate when his humans have to leave (but does calm down before we return). He does better on a walk when wearing a harness. I'd bet he'd be a great dog for an owner who likes to run. He would do well in a multi-dog home.
Charlie is currently learning how to heel while on walks and is very trainable. This sweet boy will make anyone a perfect companion! #Canyouhearmenow?
If you are interested in meeting this amazing dude, visit our website at www.rescueahart.org to fill out an adoption application.
All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. If you are interested in any of our pets, you must complete an online dog adoption application at www.rescueAhart.org . The application will put you in touch with this wonderful dog's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks! www.rescueAhart.org
