Vera Border Collie Mix Baltimore, MD

Vera and her siblings were surrendered to us because they were an unwanted litter of puppies. They were being kept outdoors in a homemade pen when one of our volunteers saw them. Unfortunately, this is very common where we rescue.

Vera has been in our care for 4 weeks and she is doing great. She is being fostered with another puppy and they get along very well. She has done great with the adult dogs in her foster home, and she does well with cats too. She is already learning the basic commands; sit, down and come. She is crated trained and potty trained. She is also leash trained. We think Vera would be a good fit for someone who is looking for smart girl.

We don’t know anything about Vera’s parents. We think that she is a Border Collie mix based on her physical traits. She currently weighs 11 pounds and she is 14 weeks old.

She has been spayed, vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
