Meet Velma, one of the Scooby Doo litter! She is the ultimate velcro dog who’s always eager to be part of the action! With her happy squeals and wiggly excitement whenever her fosters come near, Velma radiates joy and affection. She’s a confident and loving pup who thrives on being close to her humans. Velma gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats in her foster home, making her an adaptable and social companion who’s ready to bring endless smiles to your life.

Velma is a striking beauty with a black coat and a distinctive white stripe between her eyes, complemented by white markings on her chest and paws. Her sleek, glossy coat enhances her charming appearance, while her expressive eyes and adorable white accents make her stand out. Velma’s playful and affectionate nature shines through her captivating looks, making her a truly eye-catching addition to any family.

Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption

BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care.  As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
