Vegan was found as a stray one year after he was adopted from a Texas shelter. His family had abandoned him and refused to take him back.
Vegan is very affectionate with people and friendly with other dogs. He is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash. He can get protective of his family if he is put in a situation where he feels like he needs to take charge. Therefore, his ideal adopter is someone who's able to provide firm but gentle leadership and a calm environment.
Fostered in Glastonbury, CT. Available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as the adopter is willing/able to travel to his foster home to meet and adopt him.
