Valerie Labrador Retriever Mix Argyle, NY

Valerie is a 6 month old spayed female Lab mix. She is a friendly dog but a bit underconfident and startles easily. She’ll need an owner who will work with her on her confidence and being her cheerleader to get used to the world around her. We recommend no kids or older kids (unless a dog-saavy family) as she is nervous around them right now until she gets more experiences. Shes a very smart dog and will be easily trainable. Sits and waits to be let in and out of her kennel like a good girl! She is learning sit and down and has picked it up very quickly. Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.

This pup is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $600 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
