Meet Tykun~

This dog is God's gift to children! If there was a dog that could be brought to children that were struggling, suffering, or whatever, Tykun would be the dog! Tykun truly loves everyone and makes sure they know it! Tukun knows no strangers! He is a hugger so if you're not wanting a dog that gently jumps up on you for some loving, this is not the dog for you! Tykun is kind to all including cats! He is not a barker at all! He is extremely innocent, but mentally is probably 4 months old and is very energetic! He is also super goofy, in your business, in your way, and on your lap! Tykun loves toys, and loves to carry random things around in his mouth! He loves the car, going new places, and seeing new things!
This sweet boy had a home but got the boot when his parents had twins! Tykun is 1.5 years old.
He should be potty trained, but in the short time we have had him, he has had some accidents.
Tykun loves to play fetch and will even bring you back the ball! And when he is corrected, (kindly of course) he totally listens!

BREED IDENTIFICATION:
Please understand that many rescue dogs are mixes of multiple breeds. Petfinder allows us to choose up to two breeds per dog. While the shelters and our rescue do our best in accurately identifying breeds, breed identification is not guaranteed. If there is a certain breed that you do not want, it is very important that you share this with our rescue when applying. When adopting a puppy, breed uncertainty plays a big part in the size/look of the dog as an adult. Please know that any puppy can be a wonderful dog, regardless of preconceived notions of certain breeds, but it is very important that the adopter has the dedication and patience to raise the puppy with boundaries, consistency, structure, & love. The more effort you give towards training & time you allow for exercise, your puppy will grow to be a HUGE source of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, TOTAL LOYALTY, HAPPINESS, COMFORT & COMPANIONSHIP!

ABOUT OUR RESCUE:
We are a small rescue run by volunteers & focused on finding the right match for both our dogs & for you. If you are interested in adopting through our rescue, you first will need to complete an adoption application & be approved as a potential adopter before meeting any of our pups. No need to be intimidated by our application as it allows us to get to know you & your lifestyle. Of course, the more you can share the better! Please also note, while a fenced yard is fantastic, it is not required by our rescue, however, it may be required for a certain dog occasionally. Once adoption applicants are approved to become potential adopters, we offer private appointments where you can meet one or several dogs at the discretion of the rescue. We offer a unique & pleasant experience focused on finding the perfect match. It is extremely important to us that everyone is treated with respect & that NO ONE IS LEFT HANGING. WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU WITHIN 2 TO 3 DAYS of application submission. SOME PROVIDERS HAVE VERY STRICT POLICIES REGARDING WHICH TYPE OF DOG BREEDS ARE ALLOWED UNDER THEIR COVERAGE. STATE FARM WAS SUGGESTED TO US AS THEY DO NOT PUNISH, DROP, NOR REFUSE YOU DUE TO DOG BREED SHOULD YOU RUN INTO ISSUES WITH YOUR CURRENT PROVIDER.
