SATURDAY, MARCH 22, from 12-3 PM: PET ADOPTION EVENT at the MERRIAM PETSMART located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Come meet all the DOGS, CATS & PUPPIES waiting for their forever families, and let us help you find a new family member.

TRAVIS is a good lookin' American Bulldog mix! He is 3 years old and he weighs 56 lbs. He's a friendly and playful guy who loves romping in the yard and exploring. He also loves rolling around on the straw we have in the yards! Travis hadn't been well socialized with other dogs, but he's learning and is now making friends. If you have a dog we'd ask that you bring your dog to meet Travis so we can see if they could be buddies.
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
