Meet TRIXIE
Fresh off the Amish “purge” list, Trixie comes to us as one of the newest pieces of trash discarded by the Amish for “better models.” Trixie’s issue - she had beautiful pups but when puppy buyers saw her, they often left empty handed because with each litter, Trixie lost more and more hair thereby making her look “mangy.” The real reason for the hair loss with each passing litter - poor diet, filthy barn environment, and overuse to the point that this 6 year old dog had eight litters in her time “on the farm.” Those days are over now and Trixie is already looking better - good diet, regular grooming, fresh air and a clean kennel will do wonders for the mind and body! Trixie is a happy go lucky girl who is eager to please and loves people. She has a dominant streak so her dog friends need to be laid back for the best match. $300, Labrador Retriever, FS, DOB 12/2018, 80lbs

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
