Trixie Labrador Retriever & Bernese Mountain Dog Mix Warrington, PA

Trixie is a three-year-old black Labrador retriever mix. Trixie is the sweetest retired breeder momma with the softest, shiniest coat you’ll ever pet.

Trixie is not (yet) your typical, playful, bone-chewing lab but she will melt your heart as you watch her bloom. She is looking for a home where she can be the only dog and get all the attention that she has missed in her first three years. She is content to spend time relaxing on the floor or couch and seeking out pets from her all the humans. Trixie also enjoys relaxing outside watching all the world go by on the porch in between short walks to check out all the sniffs. She also walks like a dream on leash and will meander along at whatever pace you set for her.

While Trixie has lived with other dogs in the past, she is looking forward to being the only center of attention in her new forever home. She loves children of all ages, enjoys them, and is very gentle and calm. Trixie has had a few interactions to cats, and it’s gone well. She could likely learn to be cat friendly with proper introductions and patience.

Patience will be the key with Trixie’s new family. She needs a family that will allow her the space and time to adapt to a new forever home as she is still figuring out life off the farm. This whole big world beyond the farm Trixie grew up on has opened up all at once, so it takes her a little bit to get acclimated; but trust us when we say that this sweet girl will readily share her world with you if you give her the chance.
