Meet Toto
My name is Toto and I am a senior little guy that weighs 9 lbs.
HAH rescued me from the KC Fruitvale shelter when my time was going to be up.
I am staying with my foster family and have been with them for 3 weeks now.
This is what they have learned about me. I am a sweet guy that would do good with another senior dog around my size, but would me fine as an only pet too. I walk well on a leash and go out to do my business several times a day and during the night I have my pee pads that I use. I like a calm living atmosphere so I probably need to be a companion to a person that is a senior, that lives a quiet life style. I would probably make a good couch buddy. I cannot handle a lot of commotion it gives me an anxiety attack. When I was at HAH for adoption day I was barking so much that I had to go home early, then when I got home I vomited and had diarrhea. Also my grooming and vet day gave me diarrhea . So because of that please call ahead to arrange a meeting time, so my stress is limited, I am a senior fellow after all!
I probably ate mostly human food with my previous owner because I prefer that. I get a scrambled egg for breakfast and I like baby carrots cooked and cut up. I will eat one certain type of dog food (about 1/3 can in the afternoon).
I am a special needs fellow because I have a collapsed trachea. This is something that happens to a lot of senior small dogs. There really isn't anything to be done about it, just be understanding that sometimes I will have a dry cough and especially if I get excited. Other than that the vet says I have cataracts but I can see just fine as far as I'm concerned. My foster thinks I can see everything I need to see also. My eyes look normal to her.

I deserve to have a nice quiet home with someone that will love me as I am, maybe that person is you.
