Topaz Poodle Dayton, OH

Topaz is doing so well in his foster home!  He is such a lover, and wants nothing more than to be close to a person he loves.  He does loves to walk outside and jump and play.  He is always a popular guy at the dog park.  He is crate trained, has learned to sit and lie down on command and is learning new things all the time.  (He is doing great with clicker training!) He is good with housetraining when kept on a consistent schedule.  Whether outside or in the house, he follows very close to my feet, desperate to be close to me, so he needs a home that can handle having him underfoot.  He can be a challenge on the leash because he still circles and runs into my legs sometimes, and he likes to jump, but he's improving.  He is more timid with men than women, but he can warm up to anyone in time.  He is lovely with kids - he loves being hugged and walked by them.  We have had a 4 and 5 year old walk him on the leash, and he didn't pull one bit.  I have also seen him with a kitten, and he was very patient and respectful of the kitten's space.  This miniature poodle is a TOTAL sweetheart and would be a great dog for a patient and understanding home.

Our adoption area is OHIO, KENTUCKY, AND INDIANA. WE DO NOT SHIP NOR ARRANGE TRANSPORTS.

Our adoption fee is $200.00 which includes spay/neuter, routine shots, rabies, worming, microchipped, heartworm testing and they are on monthly preventative.
