Meet Tonka
Hi, I have a pup test for you. After you give a puppy a bath, do you tell them to A) shake it like a Polaroid picture B) shake it like a milkshake or C) shake it like a salt shaker?
*taps paw as he waits for response*
Ha ha peoples! I trick you, that’s a sneaky question and the only correct answer is “I don’t give puppies a bath!” Just kidding, I know with this lush coat, I’m gonna need some groom groom vroom vroom on occasion.
Foster Mom calls me TONKA, the big fluffball of sweetness! I call her The Lady With The Food!! I was born November 19th to Mama Tasha while incarcerated at the pound.
I am a very love-a-ball little big guy. I am very curious about the world around me, so I hope my new family goes on adventures.
My face is a typical German Shepherd mix face, the full range of emoji expressions and intelligence in my eyes. But I’m not just brains, I’m also a cuddle boy and love to be held.
I’m docile by nature. The other pups pick on me sometimes and I don’t fight back, I just roll over and wait for Foster Mom to intervene. She’s says they’re just jelly because I’m so handsome. That’s right. So whatever they say bounces off me and sticks to them like peanut butter, since they’re jelly, I suppose.
I only have one warning. Hide your socks and shoes. They aren’t safe when I’m around. I LOVE the smell of people feet and will take them and possibly allegedly destroy them.
My Mama Tasha is a German Shepherd mix and she’s got the best temperament in the world and her milk was top shelf too. So mine will be too. I hope you can cuddle me soon!
Basics:
Tonka- male (will be neutered prior to adoptin), DOB 11/19/23, German Shepherd mix, sable colored long hair coat, will likely be large, good with dogs, cats and kids, gentle, sweet, loveable
