Meet Tonka
Tonka loves to ride in the car! We think he would be an ideal dog for a trucker or RVer! He sits in the passenger seat and watches with interest. On a recent 250-mile drive, he curled up in the back for a while, then was back in the seat.
When his foster mom says "load up!" he jumps into the back of her van for another adventure.
Tonka is a 6-1/2 year old Alaskan Malamute mix. He weighs 84 pounds, is house broken, and has his shots.
Tonka is a real jewel. Our rescue's vet thinks Tonka is most excellent, and that is the truth. He's handsome on the outside and pretty on the inside. He's a good dog through and through. And just gorgeous!
He's very sweet. He sleeps on the floor beside the bed.
There are dogs of all sizes in his foster home and he does well with them. He does NOT do well with cats.
