Toby & Cara Italian Greyhound Havre De Grace, MD

This is Toby & Cara, a fabulous, bonded pair that will fill your home with so much love and joy. Since joining their foster home they have blown their foster parents away with how quickly they have adjusted to a new house, especially with their three foster siblings.

Toby is a 19.5 lb , 9-year-old love muffin. Toby is a chill boy who enjoys the occasional play time, but shortly can be found taking a snooze under the covers. Toby loves to be scratched and covered in tons of cozy blankets. Toby can be described as a laid-back goofy boy. Toby is a smart boy who knows how to cover himself with blankets and will give you a little growl when he needs assistance. Toby is dog friendly but tends to dominate the first few interactions with a new friend. Once Toby is adjusted to his new dog friends, he is a polite gentleman. Toby is housebroken and is good on a leash. Toby is crate trained and is UTD on his vaccines. Toby knows his name and is good with recall.

Cara is a petite 13lb, 3 yo, sensitive sweetheart, she loves to cuddle and receive belly rubs. Cara loves to play with toys and is a pro at fetch. Cara does well on the leash, she tends to spin when she is excited, so you just need to make sure you have quick feet. Cara is your typical Iggy and can be nervous at times but is easily calmed down once she is snuggled up with her person. Cara will go potty outside but prefers to use a pee pad. Cara is dog friendly but tends to be timid towards bigger dogs, after being given her space she regains her confidence. Cara is small, but mighty and will let another dog know that she wants her own space. When she is in a cuddly mood, she will snuggle up next to her foster siblings and Toby. Like her, brother Cara is super smart and knows how to cover herself up with blankets. Cara knows her name and has a great recall. Cara is UTD on her vaccines.

As mentioned, Cara and Toby are a bonded pair that must be adopted together. Cara and Toby, are great with polite kids. We recommend a household without cats as they tend to get a little too excited and someone who is home more oftenthan not. This pair will steal your heart the moment you meet them. Both are being fostered in Harford County, Maryland.
