Toby Beagle Toledo, OH

Toby is a 4-year-old boy in search of his furever home. Affectionate and fond of cuddling, Toby has overcome challenges by shedding an impressive 12 pounds and he needs to lose ~10 more. He was 65 lbs. when he came into the program and he’s now under 52 lbs. His goal weight is about 45. His new home will need to be committed to help him continue to lose weight. Toby loves walks and can walk for about 30 minutes and probably longer.

Toby came to Midwest BREW because he was an escape artist and kept showing up at the local shelter, not to mention that he was severely overweight. Toby will need a home with a very secure fence. He hasn't tried to escape his foster home backyard, but he will need to be watched closely just in case.

Toby loves to play with other dogs. He is very gentle and doesn't jump on anyone so he likely would be ok with kids but he has not interacted with kids in his foster home. He just wants to crawl next to you on the couch and cuddle.
