Growing up in the shelter hasn't negatively fazed this sweet boy Titus is happy, full of life and has loads of puppy enthusiasm. No shelter stay was going to get him down. He's hit the ground running and with his super social dog skills has quickly made lots of canine friends in his foster home. He loves other dogs! He's got a very exuberant rough and rowdy play style and even takes corrections from dogs well if he gets a little too rowdy. He's way more interested in his dog friends but is also learning he has to pay some attention to the humans as well. He landed a foster spot with a trainer so he's getting the basic obedience skills he needs to pay attention when his people ask him to.

As adorable and happy as Titus is he almost didn't make it out of the shelter alive. Our public shelters are inundated with medium and large breed dogs so even though Titus was super social he didn't get noticed and wasn't adopted. Eventually he was added to the euthanasia list but a quick yes from our amazing foster saved Titus's life. No one wants to see such a young and happy dog die and we are thankful we could give Titus his chance!

Titus would love an active family with at least one other dogs he can pal around with and burn off some of that energy. He still has a bit of puppy mouthiness so homes with young children will have to monitor a little closer during interactions. He's super smart and is quickly picking up all the training tasks he's learning and has also figured out how to entertain himself when no one wants to play. Hes crate trained and ready to meet you.
