Meet Titus!!

Titus is one of our long term residents here at the Quincy Animal Shelter. He has been here for a year and a half, which is way too long. He is a bully mix of some kind and is 4 and a half years old. We call Titus our big, goofy land hippo. Weighing in at a whopping 100 pounds, he loves to lounge and receive pets and scratches. He is the biggest sweetheart and we all adore him here. He loves his toys and seems to be quite possessive over them, so we feel that a home without small children who may not know better than to try and take a toy from him, would be best. Titus loves walks as long as the weather is decent. He’s kind of a big baby when it comes to cold weather! He does great walking on leash. He is okay walking past other dogs on his walks, but otherwise he does have some dog aggression from what we have seen. For this reason, we think he needs to be the only dog in the household. He believe he is house trained, as he is very clean in his kennel. We would love for him to go home where he can live his best couch potato life. Titus would surely repay the favor by being your loyal best bud for the rest of his days.
