MY AGE: approx. 1 year WEIGHT: approx. 70 lbs. WHERE I AM FROM: AL

MY STORY: Tippy brought us quite a surprise when we rescued her from Alabama back in September. After a few weeks we looked at her and thought "hm, you're getting kind of chunky". We took her to the vet and SuRpRiSe! She was pregnant and due mid-October. Our next surprise? Tippy delivered eleven puppies on October 10. Happy Birthday! The whole family is ready to find their forever homes and Tippy says she's ready to be somebody else's baby.

Tippy was found as a stray in Alabama. We were told that while she was in a foster home there that she loves kids, but she has not had the opportunity to be around kids in our care. We laugh every day because we say Tippy requires a toll whenever someone walks by. Scratches or belly rubs pay the price. She gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. She'd do fine in a home as either an only dog or with a furry companion. Tippy is working on "sit" and her crate training. She's a puller on leash, but really improves when she's being walked with a harness.

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.

Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
