Tiny Guy Meet Tiny Guy! This adorable 4-1/2 lb chihuahua mix is a loving bundle of energy and fun, in spite of the fact that he has only three legs. Tiny Guy is probably between one and two years old. Earlier this year Tiny Guy came into the shelter with a broken hind leg. The attempted surgical repair of that leg was unsuccessful so the leg was amputated. But Tiny Guy wasn't about to let that keep him down! He's fully recovered and that whole experience is now a distant memory. He says: Three legs, four legs - who cares!? Having three legs doesn't keep him from scampering around his foster home and yard with his larger doggie roommates, and generally being the life of the party! His antics make his foster mom laugh every day. Tiny Guy is house-trained and loves to cuddle on his foster mom's lap or on a floor pillow with a few toys while she's watching TV. He gets along great with other dogs, though he will bark a bit at stranger dogs on the street when he's going for a short walk on his three little legs, or in his stroller for a longer walk. However, unlike some chihuahuas, he's not excessively barky. Tiny Guy is perfectly comfortable staying in his crate during the day when his foster mom goes out to do errands, and settles right down at night to sleep in that crate too. He LOVES toys, and climbs into the doggie toy box at his foster home to root around and find just the right toy for that moment. Tiny Guy is looking for a home where he'll get plenty of attention and cuddling and be the center of attention, but without small children. He'd be a great match for someone who worked from home, or maybe a retired person who wants a fun little companion. Tiny Guy has lots of love to give and is looking forward to finding his forever home!
