Tinkerbell is a 5+ year old (dob July 2019), 20lb terrier mix who has been with us since November recovering from a leg fracture. Tinkerbell is a very sweet and spunky girl who loves attention. This girl is very active! She loves to play ball and go for walks. She is house and crate trained, and knows her basic manners. She does not do well living with other dogs and isn't so sure of cats. She seems to be good with people of all ages, and really seems to enjoy kids.

Tinks does have 6 screws in her leg so she may be prone to arthritis but she has no limitations as a result of her injury. Given her energy level, she might be trying to make up for lost time! It had been previously noted that Tinks can be a barker (typical with terriers) so we didn't think apartment living was a good option for her. In her current foster home, this isn't an issue so apartment living could work, depending on the environment and living situation.

Tinks is a wonderful little dog and will make someone a great little best friend.

Adoption fees cover age specific vaccinations, martingale and collar, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming etc.

Adoption fees:
Through 6 months of age $450;
7 months to through 5 years $400;
6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;
9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300

This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption. This dog is in foster care locally, ONLY if Maine is listed next to the dogs name; otherwise, the dog is still waiting with our partner rescue for an adoption or foster home in New England.

PLEASE NOTE - We will check your veterinary reference, to ensure that current and prior dogs have a history of being kept up to date on rabies and distemper, have had annual heartworm tests, and are on heartworm preventative at least 6 months of the year. Current pets must by spayed/neutered.
