Hi, my name is Tink. People tell me I'm adorable and that I look like a puppy, but I'm actually two-years-old! Before One Love saved me from another "rescue," I spent my whole life in an outdoor kennel with a concrete floor. Instead of learning to sit and stay, I learned to be afraid of people and bark at them so they'd stay away from me. But I didn't mean it and now I'm thinking people can be OK (it's still something I'm working on). I haven't had any experiences with kids, but I bet they'd be fun as long as they don't scare me. Maybe older kids would be better for me.

Know what I'm not afraid of? DOGS!! I love, love, love other dogs. Being around them makes me so happy that I even forget that I'm sometimes afraid of people. Cats? They seem just fine, too, but the ones in my foster home won't let me play with them because they're old and a bit cranky.

I've learned so much since I left that place where I grew up. I'm doing really well with walking on a leash, but I'm still kinda scared of this big new world. I'm nearly perfect at my house training and only have accidents if something scares me. I go into my crate without even being told because it feels safe in there. Running around in the yard with my foster siblings is my favorite thing because I never got to run and play my whole life until now. A home with a fenced yard and dog-friends would be my dream.
