Meet Timone
Meet Timone!
This handsome boy is energetic, curious and is eagerly searching for his forever home. Timone is under a year old and should be a medium size dog. He is the perfect size for being your best buddy out on a hike or working the farm. While his exact breed mix cannot be confirmed without a DNA test, he appears to resemble a cattle dog.
Not much is known about Timone's past, as he was found as a stray. He is currently residing in a shelter environment, patiently awaiting his forever family. While his behavior in a home setting is uncertain due to his shelter stay, observations indicate that he has a genuinely sweet and kind demeanor and would make an excellent companion for most households. A patient and relaxed owner would be ideal to allow him to live his best life!
Timone has had positive interactions with other shelter dogs and can be considered dog friendly. However, his exposure to cats has been limited, so his behavior around them is uncertain. He has had little exposure to children, and given his sweet nature, it is believed that he would do well with respectful children who understand boundaries.
As a young adult dog, Timone would thrive in a relaxed setting while still providing him with the physical activity he deserves. While his specific breed makeup is unknown, the presence of cattle dog traits suggests a loyal personality. It is recommended to research breed characteristics to understand their needs and temperament.
Ideally, a home with a fully fenced yard would be the perfect fit for Timone. Considering his size, apartments may not be an acceptable environment to provide him with the exercise he needs.
If you're looking for a sweet companion who will bring joy and love to your home, Timone is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to be a part of your family. With the right care and attention, he will thrive and fill your life with happiness.
Timone is vaccinated, dewormed, chipped, and heartworm negative. He is neutered.
Grimes County Animal Rescue (GCAR) makes no guarantees on breed. Most animals we receive are mixed breeds. The breeds listed are a guess based on features and characteristics. We cannot guarantee the size or breed of any dog without a DNA test.
