Meet Tika
Please welcome Tika to Dante's Hope.
Some days in rescue are heartbreaking. Tika is approximately 6-7 yrs old and surrendered to the shelter with another dog due to owners work schedule. You can see the confusion and sadness in her eyes and our hearts break.
When we picked up Tika, she had about 6 inches of hair, all matted underneath to the skin and her face so full of hair she could not see. Once shaved, we know she felt better but her eye is infected due to all the hair and matting. She is on medication and already improving!
Tika is a quiet and gentle girl who will do great in a home where she can be the center of her person's world. She is quiet, house and kennel trained, loving and sweet.
Tika is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, microchipped and HW negative. Please consider opening your heart and home to Tika
