Meet Tiffie
Tiffie is the sweetest and softest boxer ever! With her petite size and her puppy soft fur, she's the perfect snuggle buddy. So far she hasn't met a person that she didn't like and there hasn't been a person to meet her that hasn't loved her. That includes the 3 and 5 year old kids in her current foster home. She's very gentle and should be a great fit for all ages.
Tiffie came to ABR as a stray, we're not sure how long she was on her own but she can be very timid in new environments and around new people but warms up quickly to anyone she meets. She's not a fan of loud noise and may need a hand to hold during thunderstorms and fireworks. In a new home, she may be nervous going outside alone, but once she gains confidence in her new family that should change. It took a couple weeks in her first foster home to feel safe going out to do her business without someone, but the door was always open so she could get in when she was done which gave some reassurance.
She is crate trained and appreciate a little treat to entice her into the crate, Nubz are her favorite. She's also potty trained, but she's newer to it so it'll require maintaining some routines. She's good on a leash but new to it as well so guidance is needed. She won't tug pull you though unless a cat or a squirrel crosses her path. Her fosters family can share updates about her routines and training progress once she's adopted.
She can be nervous around new dogs, so slow introductions in a safe environment may be necessary to determine if she'd get along with any other dogs in the family.
